Short version: we tell you what a product is, what problem it solves, who it’s actually for, where it falls short, and what it costs — and we say clearly when we haven’t tested something hands-on.

What Every Review Covers

Every product page and review on URIVIO is built to answer the same core questions: what it is, what problem it solves, who it’s for, who it’s not for, what it does well, what it does poorly, what the real tradeoffs are, what it costs, what the alternatives are, and what we’d recommend and why.

Where Our Information Comes From

We prioritise sources in this order: the official manufacturer or vendor, the vendor’s official pricing page, official documentation and technical specifications, trusted primary datasets, and reputable secondary sources. See our Sources Policy for the full detail.

Hands-On Testing

We only describe a product as hands-on tested when we have actually used it ourselves. Where a review is based on specification analysis, vendor documentation and user-reported experience rather than direct testing, we say so. We do not imply first-hand testing that didn’t happen.

What We Won’t Do

• We don’t publish unverified data as fact.
• We don’t present historical or discounted pricing as the current price.
• We don’t treat affiliate marketing claims as editorial fact — vendor marketing copy and our own judgement are kept separate.
• We don’t invent ratings, review counts or testimonials.
• We don’t let commission rate influence which product we recommend — see our Editorial Policy.

Keeping Reviews Current

Pricing, plans and features change. When we’re told about — or find — a factual change, a broken link, or a discontinued product, we prioritise updating that page. If you spot something out of date, see our Corrections Policy.
